Save the Date!!! August 24, 2010

We’re heading to Bimini for one last dolphin swim of the year!

Mark your calendar for October 24th – 29th for an all-inclusive week of exceptional food, warm sun and joyful, friendly dolphins!

Soothe your mind, rest your body and nourish your spirit.

The week includes three chef-prepared meals each day (plus boat snacks), shared accommodations and daily chartered boat excursions to swim with the dolphins.  We also offer a yoga practice on the beach each morning.  In your free time you can rent a golf cart and explore the island, take a walking tour with a local historian, soak and meditate in the mangrove healing hole or visit the Fountain of Youth.  These are just a few of the activities available.  Or you may wish to enjoy the silky ocean waters just steps from our hotel.

The cost for the week is $1695 (air fare is not included).   This journey is suitable for all levels of yoga practices and for swimmers and non-swimmers alike.  Please contact me at dolfunswims@comcast.net for more information and to register!

Heaven IS on Earth!  Your only requirement is to show up, leave the “real” world behind and allow yourself to sink into the bliss, relaxation and peace of this enchanting adventure.

Hope to see you soon!

Evening star gazing… August 11, 2010

It’s time to lay the blanket on a nice comfy spot on the beach Thursday or Friday evening if you can.  You’ll want to be gazing at the heavens between midnight and dawn to watch the Perseids Meteor showers!  If you’re in a dark enough area, you may see 60 meteors an hour!  These are not stars but meteor dust and fine particles that are blazing through the skies.

For more information, you can follow this link:  http://earthsky.org/astronomy-essentials/earthskys-meteor-shower-guide

Have fun and let me know how many you counted!!

Boji the Bottlenose Dolphin! April 21, 2010

Fellow dolphin enthusiast, Robert Alan-Haven has released his book “Boji”.

BOJI is the story of a bottlenose dolphin with a passion for pursuing his individual destiny, wherever it may lead him. Robert Alan-Haven weaves a story of life within the dolphin pod, interactions with other marine life, and in particular, with humankind.

The parallel theme of Boji’s journey is the joy of learning. Many of his adventures come from his drive to push against the limits of the known, to expand his boundaries, to incorporate more and more of the unknown within his experience of being a dolphin in the oceans of the world.

Alive only because his pregnant mother was rescued from drift netting by a chance encounter with scuba divers, Boji is born with a strong affinity for humans, and his life choices bring him into increasing contact with the ‘land-based bipeds’ until it becomes obvious that his destiny involves their presence in his life.

Boji is an entertaining, highly readable allegory of our own journey of discovery, and his story has something to offer readers of all ages.

Wild Dolphin Consciousness – A Poem April 9, 2010

We swirl.   We swim.

We are joy.  We are love.

Open up to our natural state.

Swim with love.  Be in joy.

Feel the vibrations, they are powerful!

Are they not?

We are smiles.  We are laughter.

We are present.  We are now.

Join in our ecstasy. Be filled with our presence.

Expand your heart.  Fill your heart.
