Since this is the last dolphin swim of the season, we’re going to make the package a little sweeter!

We’re adding two FREE hotel nights to the package!!

This means that for the same, regular all-inclusive price of $1695 you’ll enjoy 7 hotel nights, 5 daily dolphin swims and 5 days of chef-prepared meals (air fare not included)!

This is for the week of October 24th.

We’re heading to Bimini for one last dolphin swim of the year!

Mark your calendar for October 24th – 29th for an all-inclusive week of exceptional food, warm sun and joyful, friendly dolphins!

Soothe your mind, rest your body and nourish your spirit.

The week includes three chef-prepared meals each day (plus boat snacks), shared accommodations and daily chartered boat excursions to swim with the dolphins. We also offer a yoga practice on the beach each morning. In your free time you can rent a golf cart and explore the island, take a walking tour with a local historian, soak and meditate in the mangrove healing hole or visit the Fountain of Youth. These are just a few of the activities available. Or you may wish to enjoy the silky ocean waters just steps from our hotel.

The cost for the week is $1695 (air fare is not included). This journey is suitable for all levels of yoga practices and for swimmers and non-swimmers alike. Please contact me at dolfunswims@comcast.net for more information and to register!

Dolphin Factoid…

Did you know that the hippopotamus and the dolphin are related? Yes! The hippos closest living relative are cetaceans (whales & dolphins) which they diverged from 55 millions years ago. No one would ever suspect any likeness between the two based on appearances so fossils have helped to establish this evolutionary link.

The hippo and cetaceans are thought to be alike in that they make sounds through the fatty area in the heads, both may “hear” though their jaws and they have a close blood match.

Who would have thought?!

As I stare at the beautiful conch shells that we now have sitting on our porch, I am remembering one of the occasions on Bimini that we were hunting for good shells.

Now all I need to do is put the shell to my ear and listen to the waves gently lapping on the sand…..I’m there, are you?!!

It’s time to lay the blanket on a nice comfy spot on the beach Thursday or Friday evening if you can. You’ll want to be gazing at the heavens between midnight and dawn to watch the Perseids Meteor showers! If you’re in a dark enough area, you may see 60 meteors an hour! These are not stars but meteor dust and fine particles that are blazing through the skies.

Gratefulness

I am grateful for simply being.

Counting my blessings is a thoughtful practice, which helps me maintain an attitude of gratitude. It is good, though, to move beyond gratitude for people, places and things, to gratefulness for existence itself.

Going within, I begin by appreciating this moment of peace. Then I become grateful for simply being. This shift in consciousness allows me to fully experience my oneness with the divine Presence, oneness with all that is. The peace I feel is expansive. My gratitude opens wide the realization that I am more than my body, my personality, my experiences–I am an expression of the Divine. I’ve been given this moment in time to exist in this world, to love and to serve, to follow my bliss. And for this, I am truly grateful.
